Please do NOT watch this video if you haven't already read The Eye Of The World or The Great Hunt!
(or if you don't mind, then watch away!)
I include quite a few spoilers and story-lines.
Also you can check out my blog as I give you a more detailed review of some of the key points I may have missed out in the video.
Please leave your comments and opinions on The Great Hunt and what you thought of the book and the series! =]
Thanks for watching! =)

  • love your work! just something about the Accepted, they are more of the intermediate stage to becoming Aes Sedai, the first stage is the Novice. She was allowed to skip that Novice stage. Seanchen(Shawn schen) Plus we have to love the humor involved between the sexes.

and yes Matt is a great character.

all in all TGH is one of the better books, especially as you said the developements of the Ta'veren and as they grow into their roles.

  • @blitz849 Thank you for that insightful comment! =)

    I do love Mat - he's such a joker! :P

And for clearing that up about the Accepted - you sure know your stuff! =]

  • has this been turned into a tv show or movie series yet

  • @TheGamerholic There's been talks about a movie for a long time.

Starting of course with The Eye Of The World. Personally - I don't really want The Wheel Of Time series to be made into a series or movie.

Unless of course HBO pick it up and do an excellent job like they did with A Game Of Thrones recently. =)

  • I really liked your view of how the characters grow throughout the book, especially Rand. :)

  • @Joaniefontana Aw, thank you! =)

I though Rand had the biggest change to be honest, especially when you reach Book 3. He's like a shadow (no pun intended) of his former self.

I do love Mat though ^^ He's probably one of my favourite characters along with Perrin. =]
