in '81or '82 she came out with an album. my next door neighbor was playing it one sunny morning. i sat on her door step and listened. my neighbor had to go do some errands. she told me when u get done listening just turn off the tape player and lock the door. she came home about 4hrs later and i was still listening!!! she just shook her head.

Pity she won't get back to her roots but I guess one can say that about many other artists too. These tunes come from her prime and I'll scratch my head "why" every time I hear her new stuff.

Thanks for this! Fantastic! I first saw her on the Flying Cowboys tour and it's still my favorite RLJ record. I'm also a documentary freak, so this is teh best!
