  • WOW...your playing brought me to tears! This is such an incredibly difficult piece to play for even the Most Accomplished Professional pianists. How long did it take you to learn and memorize it? I can only wonder what it would sound like on a freshly tuned 9' Hamburg in a very live accoustical setting. Do you perform anywhere yet?

  • Kristian

    Beautifully done. wonderful interpretation

  • This Kristian boy is one to watch! His talent is amazing, and his courage to take on the most difficult pieces overwhelming. He's not quite there yet, but darnit, how much closer can we expect for a kid in his late teens or early 20s?

  • @gerardbedecarter You know, post your own performance of this piece before you comment. He is not a professional and in all honestly if you have nothing nice to say don't say it.

  • Beautifully played. Thank you so much for sharing your art.

  • olle lo tocas muy bien!!!!! te felicito que Barbaro!!!!!

  • Five stars. The dreaded leaps at 1:18 were a bit inaccurate in spots. (Maybe slowdown a little here.) There again, few, if any concert performances are fully accurate either. The passage at 3:38 was a bit "out of gear" (if you don't mind me saying so). These, however, are very minor quibbles regarding a magnificent performance. You are right on top of this piece.

  • wow, nice ending!!!

try to end with more enthusiasm, especially the weird "a minor" scale, where you gotta bang the hell outta the piano...

  • He is NOW 17 years old; when this recording was made, he was only 15 yo!

  • Plays great, and he's only 17 years old(That's high school age!!!),as of this text comment!!!! why isn't he on television or doing world tours???

  • My friend you are truly an artist and an inspiration, I envy you.

  • Obviously, this is a showpiece and I heard your live performance of it as well which proved so popular with the audience. This is perhaps a more considered and thoughtful performance. Of course, you will probably play this composition slightly differently every time! I think you have a fine future ahead of you!
