Cirque du Soleil's Kooza at the Santa Monica Pier

Eye Spy LA went to the Santa Monica pier to get a preview of Kooza. Cirque du Soleil turns 25 this year. The Santa Monica Pier celebrates its centennial. Kooza comes to the Santa Monica Pier this October to celebrate both. Among the luminaries: Serge Roy, Kooza Director of Creation; Ken Genser, the Mayor of Santa Monica (now king); The Trickster (Mike Tyus); the King (Gordon White); the Court Clown (Christian Fitzharris); Duo Unicycle (Diana Aleshchenko and Yuri Shavra); and the army (Ganjuur Boldbaatar, Caroline Kennedy, Vladimir Kuznetsov, Irina Timofeeva)

@RocketGirlPower The show WAS in Toronto when we shot the DVD in 2007. Now the show is in Vancouver then Calgary then Miami and then......JAPAN!

Hey Christian!

I saw you live in NYC during kooza! You're an amazing performer and I loved every minute of the show, especially the clown parts. My friend and I still rave about how you bent down and yelled "sock it to me!" and she smacked your ass with the steak! HILARIOUS! And by the way I saw the show on April 18th, 2009 at 4:30 or something like that. Anyways your whole team of KOOA is amazing and I wish to see another show soon!
