Fight Choreography performed by Marc Chou and Daniel Mah for 2008 CAMA Tryouts.

Remember:

- This is only the basic format you have to follow. If some moves you are hesitant to do, find a similar move that can replace it. If there is a move you can improve, by all means change up the fight choreo.

- Don't forget that along with these 2 sets, you will have to create your own set with your partner. It should be at least 5 moves EACH person.

- Make sure to make the fight believable and be creative.

- Again, it's better to have a slow but clear/powerful choreo than a fast but sloppy one. (Of course fast and clear would be best, but make sure you have complete control over your moves.)

- NO INJURIES PLEASE!

  • Remember: when you swing at your opponent, don't swing above their head, go right through it. They will duck.

Enunciate your attacks! Make your movements clear. Clarity is more important than speed but having both is ideal!

Proximity and contact! Make sure your close enough to make it look real!

Be in a fighting mindset even if the fight is choreographed.

Good Luck, guys! Train REALLY REALLY hard!

  • i messed up on the sprawl! when you guys do it, make sure your entire body shoots behind you so that you completely sprawl.

tip: don't let mistakes mess you up. if you miss something, keep going full-speed as if nothing ever happened!

In a performance, good energy and spirit cover over a multitude of mistakes!

    Good luck, guys!

  • haha fail on the sprawl!

  • Oh, that was so sweet. XD
