yeah that where you belong,right at the back of a porsche allday/night with that datsun of yours.

I know absolutely nothing about the GT-R so bare with me please. When you say "electronic nannies keeping the car planted," are you referring to something past traction control? That is a true and honest question because I've never driven a vehicle with traction control on....ever....I find that driving a car without T/C allows you to become more familiar with the car and how it will react/feel under certain situations. Please feel me in, I'm interested!

i see! thanks for the information.

that porsche driver has got bad lines, u can tell the GTR is egging him on to go faster

Does he have a rollbar? Most tracks don't allow convertibles.
I wonder how well you would fair in a smaller more driver oriented car such as a Miata, S2000, or a Boxster? Driving without the tech gadgets and a much lower mph top speed makes you develop driver skills. A car such as the GT-R is fantastic but what have you not learned or developed by letting the car do some of the work? Honest valid questions.

@Cre8Thought41
I've desired a low tech car for some time but I don't have room for it and don't want to give up the GT-R... I can turn off all the traction/stability control if I want but then I risk destroying a really expensive car. FYI at my last event a 16 year old girl wrecked her dad's GT-R..

hmm this was on my birthday would have been a perfect 19th birthday gift haha. but really what's this car like? from an owners perspective? ive had a chance to meet a GT-R owner here in Austin, Texas but never had time to actually sit down and talk about the car.

It is a BIG heavy car, but a lot of power with tons of technology to get it moving, and it handles really well too. IMO it isn't that fun to drive until you get up to speed. It was meant for higher speed race tracks like TWS.
I had more fun as a passenger in a spec Miata and even S2000(great driver), primarily because there were not electronic nannies keeping the car planted.
Still, it is FAST and handles like a champ. A great car and great value.

Yes it is a new R35 GT-R.
I waved off his point by to get some video for him. No offense to him but I had been passing him and everyone else all weekend, and I didn't get passed once the whole weekend.
In fact, in 7 weekends at the track I've been passed once, by a Radical I believe. The car is that good and so easy to drive fast.
