  • June, I made the same question myself (I`m thirty and I`ve started playing flute a month ago) and as I love and enjoy practising I have made much progress. It only depends on how much you practise and how responsibly you are.

  • fff does Not mean tripple forte it means... fortississimo

  • Wow, I hope I can play something like that by highs school! I'm a flautist, and I am already playing a few college level things, even though I will be going into 8th grade in August. Also, if anyone could give me a few pointers to make playing tenor sax a little easier that would be nice.

  • @nuke585 But that IS triple forte

  • @nrc1977 Practice as much as you possibly can. Take some Ritalin and practice your tuckus off for as long as the medication works. That's the best advise I can really think of. Just try, don't let yourself get distracted. I know it probably seems impossible, but if you can find a half-dozen friends to play with and keep you on track, it'll do something for you at least. Try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try! That's my advise to you. Do the best you can with what you've got.

  • @nuke585 Triple-forte is easier to say.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this video. I have a question: I have learning disability and ADD, but I am also in love with music. I was wondering if it is too complicated to learn flute (or piccolo), and if there is any way to help people with any kind of dissability to learn easier. Because of my situation it might take more than usual to remember the fingering and so.

And also which one is less complicated between treble flute or piccolo.

    Thanks for your time

  • Don't like how he plays

  • He's saying wierd time signatures I've never heard of are they hard to learn

  • It doesn't look like he looks after the headjoint on his flute!!!!!! Great playing though!

  • Hi, I'm from Costa Rica and I have a question I will play a flute in my school but the problem is that it does not sound any note I can do. I need help.

I have been learning for 3 months and does not sound any note.

  • It does. Both ways are correct :]

FFFForte Fortissimo (music; as loud as can be played)

    FFFFortisissimo (music)

Must be from different parts of the world!
