that is fantastic - thanks for posting that up!

I love how everyone is dressed as though they were Exclusive Brethren.
I remember one Sunday morning after Church, jumping into one of those kids blocks in the mall and narrowly missing a fresh pile of vomit. I didn't play on the blocks after that.
Those precious memories...

Looks so much better then it does now. All these friggin bogans with horrid parents hanging around the mall.

Looks nice! Very clean too.

The mall doesn't look the same without the mall bogans.
Nice to see that not a lot has changed in 20 years though...

Loved this trip down memory lane! Hard to think it was so many years ago!

I love how the mall was. It looked way better with the trees. I can only remember back to when the pavement had painted on it a large cartoon style map of Launceston that I spent ages looking at. When I was a small child I thought that was the best part of going to town!
What year were the plants removed?

Awesome a trip down memory lane.. it makes your head spin... it make me feel like doing one now for years to come ,so we may look back at life in the same way.
I filmed Launceston with a National Panasonic M7 Video Camera which took full size VHS Video Tapes. The camera was heavy to carry all the way from Racecourse Cresent, all through Launceston, up the Cataract Gorge (Did'nt have the streagnth to get to Duck Reach!!) and up over West Launceston and back home to Racecourse Cres again! The camera cost $90.00 to hire for a week from Wills in the Quadrant at the time. Also it took me 15 hours to upload this video to Youtube on dial up!! Its worth It!
