Thanks again , we could never have plug in an ethernet cable and followed the instructions on the disc that a 5 year old child could complete.

Oh, come on.
You don't need an expert to install and external modem.
I have the Sky branded version of this, works great but the wireless dongle isn't compatible with Vista.

@NathanAndrewLonsdale Actually it wasn't a few years it was around 13 years ago. I was only young at the time and didn't know much about computers.
