Even though discussion is dead for the thread, I'd like to mention I HAVE KILLED a croctopus.
You have to be speeding through the level with Engarde, catch one while its it's getting ready to gear up, and be lucky enough to be lined up with it while it's off screen.
It was a pretty awesome moment in my life when i pierced it and saw that death animation :B

Actually according to Donkey Kong 64, Cranky liked Winky how he vanished is unknown...of course Cranky also likes EXPRESSO, so lord knows he's not all right in the head.
