Why do Americans suck at math? Because their teachers suck. This guy tells you the right way by giving you what you need to know. Most of all, he doesn't have an ego problem making him take a simple concept and rephrasing it in such jacked up terms that no one understands -- making the teacher feel smart. Most math teachers do not understand their subject. They simply memorize steps. That's why they're hostile when you ask them for explanation. They can't explain, so they avoid the question
