This is the High Priest of this album. After crap like Saturday At Midnight, the album comes back to hard rock glory with this trippy song. Great story too. Robot wants to be a man, man wants to be a robot. Move over, Mr. Roboto.

When I was younger I remember Cheap Trick wasn't "serious" like so many other bands of the time. Everyone thought they were the fun band with poppy hookey sound. 30 years later when you listen to their songs, they were much more than a hard pop band.

this has always been my fave on this album! i had it on vinyl but it went up in a fire with alot of other gems...rush exit stage left, gerry rafferty city to city,grand funk live@ madison square garden,jethro tull warchild, angel white hot, etc,etc. but the tricksters were my ....."outlet" for lack of a better word! no-one could touch them!
