Really being able to control more of your brushes is really cool, like changing the leaves brush settings. It helps us really get what kind of brush we want. I also liked coloring in the umbrella. It helped it look so much more realistic! Swatches also make it easier to keep colors.

I like the white blend on the tree. I also enjoyed doing the merging of colors for the grass. My Umbrella was kind of funny though

I think the swatch usage was really interesting. I didn't know anything about swatches before except for the watch company!

The leaf settings were really cool. I could really make this look realistic. Even the shape of the leaf is very detailed.

I really liked learning how to color in the umbrella. The unity of the two colors was presented well by carefully utilizing the brush tool. It's interesting how one brush can create so many different effects!

I really liked adding bits of different color to make a pretty umbrella, rich in its shade and hue! But all the brush effects seem kind of complicated; it looks like I can create almost any brush effect I want.
