Why are so many companies making games with "Mech" in the name of the game?

I honestly have no idea.

Also, this game just merged with another project to quicken overall development, so the game is now called Fallen 2020 (of course like Mech Tech, this title isn't 100% official either until the game is actually released).

This game isn't even close to the same development level as Mechscape. It has a lot more work before it makes it to alpha stage. Jagex has a big income from runescape to back them up, so they can develop a new game much faster. You can't compare 2 games until both are actually released.

One game can't own another until they both are actually playable. Thats like saying that Call of Duty 6 will own halo 4. Both games haven't been released, so you don't know which is better.

WOW, u actually making a MMO? Good on ya'. I'm TRYING but...meh.... Trying to find a sponsor so we can hire on ppl who can actually PROGRAM, xD. Tell me, is this about all u guys have, or is it now further in development? Like, u do u guys have any Areas programmed in yet? And do they have color and texture and all that good stuff?
