Many people at my church feel praise dancing is inappropriate, howvever, I am sorry but I don't shun praise dancing. For the simple reason the very ones who look down on it before they were converted, I'm willing to guess that most likely, some use to dance in the clubs (for something other than God). So what's wrong with dancing in honor to God. Look some of these dancers are really gifted and could choose other pathways but they didn't and that alone is to be commended...just my my opinion..

@culostinks2468 GOD wants the heart not body movements. The Bible talks about believing with your heart and confessing with your mouth the LORD JESUS then you well be saved GOD talks about the heart thats what GOD is pleased of not are little efforts, are art, buildings, or music. Its the heart.

@syejunior I did not mean to post so many post I don't know why that happened. I only meant for one. Now back to your comment. Who are you dancing for yourself or God. You can't compare this to what David did because there is a historic reference. We don't live in 3000 BC and that was when Israel can position of the ark. Not dancing away imaginary demons. They that worship GOD must worship him in spirit and truth. spirit and truth have nothing to do with body movements.

In the Old Testament David danced before the Lord...and the Lord was pleased. What He was not pleased with was the way David's wife, Mical, as so negative about his display of affection for God. If I remember correctly, God struck her barren. Be careful what you say about the way people choose to praise God. Only God truly sees the heart, motives, etc.
