Balik kampung is not an annoying song . We always sing this song when hari raya , even Chinese and Indians also enjoy this sing . Fyi , this song was made by our legendary singer , allahyarham sudirman . He such a great singer .

especially the 'kenapa kucing taik busu?' really makes my night aha.
and oh balik kampung is a theme song for us for going home to village celebrating eid. :D
i dont sure but i bet we all sing it during eid. :D thats ok its annoying for foreigners btw.. :D

I don't know where you went in Malaysia, but I ain't heard that song in AGES. You probably went around Raya and you were listening to Malay stations, which might explain why you heard that song.
