66187, with Autoballasters on 6Z49, and 37410 with 37406 and ECS, going to St Blazey for the following weeks Branchline Tours in Cornwall.
Both seen here climbing Dainton Bank.

66's suck so much! I hate them! 37's rule, I live close to Trent Junction in the midlands & how I miss the rumble of 37's in the distance. These days it sounds like the neighbours got a large hoover on in the garden when a shed goes passed. Tractor Rule!

I don't suppose there's much point observing that (a) the 66 only had five on, so there wouldn't be much need for mega-thrash; and (b) only one of the 37s was working, so the only contribution that particular member of the species made was to add 107 tons of excess weight.

I was brought up with diesels my favourite are 47s really but no contest new locos are crap. can't beat the sound of the old diesels. Crewe station used to be full of them now it's just crap. Louisa
