on average the books in any library you purchase in any logos base package is less than $1.50 a piece, thats pretty impressive, and "progressive" if you ask me.

People getting their own, personal, searchable database digital library has really spawned a revolution in seminary, church, and personal life. Interaction with authors who are deep, insightful, scholarly, in tune with God's Holy Spirit is exactly what this country needs at this particular juncture. The last 50 years or so has been marked with a difference between scholarship and faith, now we are seeing them merge. No better fruit has been wrought. I have watched lives change.

One thing I have found a great help with every student/pastor/chaplain I have worked with is there super no-interest payment plans. When $30-40 bucks a month turns into a library extensive enough to put you through seminary (as I have), the only exuse left--that is real--is willingness. I have never seen any student spend less than $100/mo on food. Chopping out 1/3 of that budget provides a resource that will last the rest of you life. When someone wants a way--they find a way; God makes it.

I don't have that amount of money either, but belive me, that's a very low price for all the features it has.

Logos Bible Software has rightly taken over the market as a tool for both the churchgoer-Bible student not just the scholar. The software of Logos has not been for just the Bible scholar for quite some time, but with Logos 4, and especially now with Logos 5; it has made the deepest of Bible research, available to all, who simply desire to know God's Word better, more accurately, and as a life-changing gift. Bible Translation Magazine highly recommends Logos 5 for all serious Bible students.

Irwin, yes everyone would like a lower price, but it is the man hours that go into designing these features, the cost of indexing entire books, so that you can search through thousands of books in mere seconds. And far more than can be commented on in a mere 500 words.
