It's definitely Mary and it's no fuckin shocker that it's mary because Mary did a lot of back up singing for Uptown MCA artists before the 411 came out. She's also doin background on Father Mc's I Will Do For You and she's in that video as well. She did background on Jodeci's shit, Christopher Williams, etc. No big fuckin surprise anyone who knows about music should know this shit already.
