Okay, you can thumbs down on this, I don't really care but WTF, I hate those two parents who are running the foundation and those other parents except for that one lady at 4:09. =)

    *no homo

  • Damn look at all those cigarettes. Well, I can understand the stress of the situation. It is quite horrible.

  • I mean I know that Lorenzo needs alot of attention and all but it kind of seems like they kind of "gave up" their other kids in a way. Im not saying that in a mean way just kind of something I noticed through out the film. I mean the boy looks like he is in a awful lot of pain, I understand the mother wants to keep him alive but is it worth it to the boy? The pain and suffering?? idk this is really 1 of those situations that you dont know what you'd really do until your the 1in the situation.

  • where the hell is part 11

  • @thearter12 Yes I was. I am one of the parents at the conference. (+/- 3:07) I was in it while I was also working in robotics research in the Pittsburgh area. My schedule was very flexible and allowed me to do a lot of side interests and consultation contracts.

This film was without a doubt the most obnoxious experience I ever had in the industry and there have been some issues with the accuracy of their claims as well. Supposedly its not really true to the facts. I don't know.

  • @dirkstorm you were a part of this movie?

  • @thefidlerontheroof It was well over 100 degrees in the set. On the days where we are at the science conference about 2/3 of the extras did not return each day.

The management was obnoxious and arrogant. Literally of the 7 films I have worked on and several commercials as well as a lifetime of tv shows here and there it was the worst treatment I had ever seen. Even the food was pathetic swill I wouldn't feed a dog.

  • @AWDESIGNS8 you know what i mean. Don't be a smart-ass. I noticed you erased your comments which are the ones i originally replied to and which is the reason why i wrote LIKE THIS to show how retarded it is.

But to answer your question some of the boys were actors and some of them were real patients. If you look at the credits of the film you will see "Special Children". They are the ones who played the sickly scenes.

  • @thefidlerontheroof i dont know what you are trying to say i just wanted to know if the little boy lived . not lorenzo i know he die just some of the other boys in the story. since it was a true story.

  • @AWDESIGNS8 it looks dumb doesn't it.
