@Cartleo My band director is female, and our band has been doing fine.
In fact, our beginning band played better than this. GAH, I'm so pitying this children right now.

..... They need to practice..... there is no way you can practice and sound that bad.... Im in my second year of band (went through beginning band for 1 semester, then went another semester this year and finely advanced to my grades band with a completely different instrument then the year before...) I bring my instrument home nearly every day to practice... so I always get compliments from our directors...... Their really is no excuse..
