The Jedi Civil War left many unanswered questions. In the difficult days following the showdown between Darth Revan and Darth Malak, the Jedi Order struggled to survive, leaving little time for investigations. Redeemed as a Jedi, Revan traveled into deep space in search of a mysterious evil. We now know that the source of this evil was the reconstituted Sith Empire, but that solves only a portion of the mystery...

there was a really good quest were you go under cover at lvl18-20 in the beta with a clan that fallows revans path its a good play :-) you just get the quest late on the planet and your ready to go to narasshada so alot of people pass it to get to the next planet faster

As kreia states in kotor 2, revan turned to the dark side out of necessity to prevent a greater evil. Personally I think revan was the greatest Jedi/sith of all time. Vader's life is a sobstory compared to revan
