I've watched loads of his shows and he's just so wreckless around deadly snakes, and he provokes the sh!t out of them.

I remember one, where he's got a puff adder infront of him, that's been trying to bite him for the last 5 mins

He's crouched down on his knees, & starts talking about the next snake he wants to catch, & he looks away from the snake to the distance.. with the Puff Adder still there
