Chilling with a Lion Cub

Here, baby lion cub ' Bulldozer' and I are enjoying some down time indoors - it was too cold for him to be outside in the South African winter so we lounged on the sofa for a bit (2 weeks later we introduced him to meat, the outdoors, and play-fighting, as the start of his re-integration program into the wild).

In the vid I'm feeding him his 4th bottle of the day, even though it is only 10 am ... so to prevent his favourite activity of spitting milk/kitten formula all over me, he'll only get small portions at a time now.

Milk for breakfast... my fingers for dessert.

yeah he would be "kneading the air" as when the babies feed from their mothers they knead both sides of the teat...so it's a natural & comforting thing for them.
