The first cut for the beginning of our short film currently titled "Shootout". This is not the final product, its the one of the opening scenes in our movie, there will probably be more before this that we haven't shot yet. Also there are a few things I need to tweak in this but I just wanted to upload this to show my friends what we have so far. I need some more ambient noise, I have some near the end but we didnt have a mic the first shoot so I have yet to add it. Let me know what could be improved for the final version!

nice vid. few things i would change. the music is not that suitable it has an arabic feel to it or a dessert kind of atmosphere like iraq. the titles are lifeless compared to the meaning of the video, i would animate the letters spreading out. the first shot has too much camerashake compared to the actors that are far away and also its quite long. about the color, the saturation is quite down, maybe it would not be a bad idea to pump up the contrast a bit or the saturation. this is my opinion :D

@joshthrbc 2.35:1 is usually as far as its cropped. thats why it looks weird. other than that, great job.

Awesome video! Only thing I noticed that was kind of weird was the aspect ration of the video was a bit squished...

@caesarprods actually this was shot in 16:9, but i put the black bars over the video to give it the look of cinema aspect ratio, 2:40:1, or something like that.

I think there could of been more opportunities for sound effects, like grass rustling around as the squad moved through, but it's awesome! You make a better movie then the people that make Spike's Deadliest Warrior show!
