Pictures from my trip last week to Charlottesville.

Thomas Jefferson's masterful expression of Palladian architecture at the University of Virginia and at his home, Monticello, 850 feet above the Virginia piedmont, accompanied by Vivaldi, one of Jefferson's favorite composers.

Music: Antonio Vivaldi Concerto No. 4 in F minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "L'inverno" (Winter) from "The Four Seasons"
