I find it pretty interesting that the first sidekick of Batman in this series wasn't Robin but Batgirl. It wasn't a bad decision, it's just kind of odd considering we're so use to seeing Robin first and then Batgirl.

This was a great Batman series. I just hate the designs of Solomon Grundy, Catwoman and The Riddler.

@udaychatterjee thats true but remember that this is a children's show so it wouldn't hurt to have a lighter theme. also this intro is included in the season of the batman where they introduce batgirl and later robin so it the intro was bound to get lighter eventually.
