A really talented band. This is one of my Favorite songs from their 2005 album "The fullness of time". They are touring with Dream theater.

  • Better than Dream Theater,James labrie cant even compare to Ray,s vocals.

  • well i like both, Redemption and dream theater kinda have different styles just in my opinion

  • true about vocals but I still think Jordan Ruddess makes any band 200% better

  • yep, jordan rudess, john petrucci, john myung, and mike protnoy, even without james they make really cool songs

  • First time I listen, and ths was really cool :D

  • ino kick ass song, i like the opening part of the song

  • AWESOME

  • Wrong! The reason we see so many bands turn to playing crap instead of music is that, well, crap is more popular than good music and hence makes more money. If good bands were more popular this would mean less of an incentive for others to play crap. In other words, if bands like DT and PoS were more popular than Evanescence, Linkin Park, etc. other bands would try more to sound like them, and try less to sound like Evanescence. IMO that would be a good thing.

  • woooot ta chingon

  • This song is an opus. Thumbs up for Redemption

  • @cometolife We should both email redemption's singer and tell him he should work with dream theater and their new drummer.

  • Most beautiful song ever written !

  • He just expresses so well how I felt as my girlfriend broke up with me... one of those songs that really get to your heart.

  • I love this album. technically it'e, in my opinion, their best one. and this song totally rules.

I can't see why their last album got so many thumbs up. technically and vocally it isn't a great deal and it only has a copule of good gigs.

    But still, an awesome band

  • Yeah, that's true.. Ray's voice kind of wears at me after listening to Origins and TFoT a million times.

LaBrie is a different story, for the most part. It's a shame he got that food poisoning when he went to Cuba...

  • lol. I hadn't listened to that one in a while, but yeah.. it might be my favorite, if Ray was on vocals instead of Rick. The instrumental bits were amazing.. as usual.

Not trying to say that Rick sucks or anything... just that, if the album's production hadn't muffled out his voice half of the time, I'd probably have a higher opinion of him.

  • Ya sorry you're right I thought you were talking about the drummer Chris Adler from Lamb Of God which has nothing to do with this video. I was completely off

  • Your name is 'Redemption'? The song is called 'Sapphire..' x3

  • Nyuuh. 'Window to Space'!

  • Eh? Sorry, `I'm with N00B`, clearly. I thought Adler was the singer. ^^;

  • No I don't think Adler would work for DT Mike Portnoy is perfect for them and Chris is perfect for LOG, both bands would be ruined if they switched. (this is just my personal view).

  • i cant believe dat theres a band dats da same as ma name! lolz wierd

  • Amazing

  • The Beatles was a talented band

    WHERE ARE THEY?

  • I'd say Fall on You is... though I'm not sure if I like the live version more or the studio one.

  • "Parker's Eyes" (The Fullness Of Time) is their best song ever!!!

  • I really like this band so far, but I would argue on their originality; a lot of their riffs seem to remind me of DT, and I RARELY say that about a band.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that they're trying to COPY DT or anything; just that there are a lot of more "different" sounding bands out there. From what I've heard, these guys would be my DEFINITION of TYPICAL progressive metal.

  • I have to say that this band is not your typical sounding prog band.....there is something different about them. I cant put my finger on it....but they sound really good.

  • y por que no comparar si son del mismo genero? Es como decir "La pepsi se parece a la coca cola, pero no las comparo."

  • I really can but agree. It's just his voice get's a bit repeating after a while on this album, but I have no problem with that listening to Awake or something. I wonder how DT with Alder would be..

  • Um... die? Hah, Ray Alder sounds a helluva lot better than LaBrie any day. And I actually like LaBrie's voice, too... though it has gone wayyyy downhill recently.

Just listen to Fall on You by Redemption, and then listen to... I dunno, Pull Me Under by Dream Theater, and if it isn't blindingly obvious who the better vocalist is... well... sorry.

P.S. - I'm not really hoping for an intelligent response, by the way. Feel free to surprise me.
