New Lights!!! Martin Roboscan 812 x4 - ADM Discos

A short video taken of my new lights at 2:00am after driving to collect them from Kent, Four Roboscan 812's, not looking forward to getting new bulbs at about £70 a pop

These scanner are quite awesome liitle things. The strobing effects on these are cool and not as bad as i thought as good as having a shutter strobe. Plus you can strobe using both gobos and colours creating some cools looking effects.

sorry for not taking mine apart and helping you with the juddery movement, gotta say though, these are really nice scanners (if you can afford the replacement bulbs, lol) the strobing between the colours is really good, especially with the lime green / yellow

No problem, i understand, we will all be happy when the led technology is as bright, so far they only about as good as 100 watt bulbs for a 9 watt led, time will improve this, good luck fellow dj.

LED's have come a long way, i saw a video somewhere on here with a new led scanner against a 250W ELC and at first glance they looked as bright as each other but as you see it further away you soon realise the LED is only bright for the first few feet then it completely looses its output as the distance gets greater. Its only a matter of time though before its perfected, before you know it normal bulbs will be obsolete, Thanks for the Comments anyway =D

@DMXMANIAC yup nice lights i just got a couple, got a head ache whit the dmx controller but the price for better lights :p....

many people rave on about moving heads there ok but they cost way too much these old dmx scans still look good and the replacment lamps are still cheap enough to carry boxes of them spare in the van ..i still run six old dmx scans and as you show in your video they still look good

mein zweiter ist leider ein bauteil defekt, und ich weiß leider nicht wie ich das bekommen soll und woher

i know other then a center peice, 1 light dosnt look good, as well as any other odd number. i ended up getting a q-spot 150 led and i love it i have a video on it

Sorry for the delay, i would say get some of these anyday, especially over the mx 1 but you cant get a single scanner, youve gotta get at least two units
