I hope people do realize we're celebrating the 5th of november not because of a revolution of the people against their government, but because we managed to stop a terrorist from destroying one.
Guy Fawkes Day celebrates the day the government STOPPED a terrorist from blowing up parliament.
The only reason it actually seems appropriate to support V in V for Vendetta is because by then the goverment has been turned into a fascist regime practically forcing the people to turn against their peers
