  • I have on question, im considering getting a green tree python and im wondering, How often do they eat mice? or is it better to feed them live?

  • I feed mine once every week. Started with live and now I have her on frozen thawed because its cheaper and more convenient. I would start with live cause thats what the breeders usually start off with or u can pre kill. GTP'S can be finikey eaters sometimes. I lucked out cause mine destroys anything I put front of her. Do u have alot of experience with snakes? GTP's can be hard if u dont know how to handle them. They are way more fragile than other pythons.

  • Thank you once I get a new cord for my camera I will upload some vids of what she looks like now. Her greens are comming in real nice!

  • hey nice setup u got goin on. gtps are so adictive aren't they? i also have a baby yellow biak, housed in a 10 gallon aquarium. wat do u cover the top with to maintain high humidity? thanx

  • Thanks for the comment!!! Right now I have half of my screen top covered with aluminum foil and it works good. I will be getting a piece of plexiglass cut to fit on the inner lip of the tank and cover a little more than half so u can still put screen top oner it.Foil is cheap and works good. She just had a perfect shed 1 whole piece.

  • Thanks a ton! I went to a local reptile shop that always has good gtp's and almost walked with a yellow neonate. 500 was a bit too steep at this time need to wait till my biak changes color!
