Can you believe this guy? You know he is a great chef when all the other chefs with their professional outfits become humble in front of marco. Greatness! And the guy smokes. Damn this guy is the real thing.

5:25 Although the recipe of Cambridge Burnt Cream can be dated back to 1769, the earliest reference of Crème Brûlée is in a french cookbook called "Nouveau Cuisinier Royal Et Bourgeois" by François Massialot from 1691. But it is possible the recipe was developed independently at Trinity College. The recipe for baked custard was common enough as was sprinkling sugar on top of custard to prevent it from forming a skin. So the story with the accidental burning is very likely.

What's that choral music being played as he goes to Trinity?

Marco packs so much heat he produces roast beef simply by pointing his loins in the general direction of a cow. He's so fertile every time he nuts crops the world over grow by approximately 1 meter, which coincidentally is the length of his chap.
I find Marco a lot more inspiring than Gordon. Ramsay has done well and made a lot of money and makes good points with KN but has become too Americanised in his pursuit of cash and fame. Marco still has the passion and simmering sexiness (a lot more intellectual that Gordon) . I think he has such a deft touch with food (I am a chef)Shame he didn't like the scottish beef
