    I disagree, would be the same as saying you can't drive around the monaco grand prix better then in a 1974 porsche.

  • @boudstyle it's not like the movie would have been any better if he use a NLE. this is just his process

    I get the romantics of this, but hey... let's go avid or fcp when doing features

  • The is much respect and admiration for those that edited on film, but good god how tedious. The brilliance of editing digitally (or even by tape) is the quick turn around time between when you think of a sequence of shots to assembling them to see the result. And especially seeing if it works or not. I can not imagine going through all that one must go through editing a sequence on film and then realizing that it does not work and needs to be redone. Much respect to those who edit on film.
