A recent holiday edition of Designing Spaces--an educational cable TV program that runs across the United States--included this episode called "The Gift of Imaginative Play." The spot highlights Step2 play kitchens, art easel & desks, outdoor toys, ride-on toys and pretend play toddler toys. Step2, whose products are best known for exceptionally high quality and durability, is the largest toddler toy manufacturer in the United States.   • 4:30 this ... is very true. My cousin and I somehow became gifted with not just pretend roleplay, but story creation at the age of 4. In fact, we couldn't stand having sound effects in a lot of the stuff we used; we preferred to make our own.
