Update, 12/18/09: Perhaps most important to the Invisible Children Blog site as of late is this post, http://bit.ly/59wEpK. The post discusses the fear that much like last year, the Lord's Resistance Army will be attacking on and around Christmas Day. Please read it. It is not that long and it shows just how real this situation still is.

Invisible Children is an organization dedicated to the liberation of children who are thrown into guerrilla warfare by a group of rebels known as the Lord's Resistance Army. Their leader, Joseph Kony is seen as a god to those who follow him and a monster to those that he follows. In the links above, you can learn more about the history and strive of the organization itself. Having taken part in The Rescue (which you can read about at their site) in April of 2009, I can assure you that to be a part of this really is a terrific experience and is very rewarding. A link to the petition for the arrest of Joseph Kony is also included and you should tell everyone you know to sign it. Friends, family, pets, creepy neighbors, everyone! Gogogo! :D
