Just one thing, if I were to be incredibly picky (but hey, any constructive criticism is good, right =P), I would mention to be careful of dipping into the nasal sound. Unless you'd like it of course. The only other thing depends on if you have an accent or not; when you sing "i", you tend to make it "ah". That, again, is a personal preference (I like it interspersed with the actual "i" sound).
You are most definitely talented! Can't wait to hear more!
One of my favorite Joni Mitchell songs and damn if you don't do it justice. Wow. You capture the essence and soul of the song for me. There is a great version of Joni singing it acoustically on the Gene Autry boot from...92, me thinks...? But I really love yours Josh. Thanks!!
I see you figured out Joni's C9-11 open "Tuning of Life" (as I call it). Great job! Same tuning for "Coyote", "Don Juan's Reckless Daughter", "Hejira", "Woman of Heart and Mind", "Sisotowbell Lane" and many others.
you are really getting on to joni's right hand. that's hard to do. the way she brushes those strings with her nails is amazing. you can see that nicely in shadows and light, i'm thinkin' 'in france they kiss on main street' oh and hey, Nice Guitar!! is that the one she lost on an airplane in '75??????
i'm back to comment yet again :) i love it! great strumming

You nailed it. It is always interesting to hear a male cover a Joni Mitchell tune. Really gives it a unique perspective.

That was completly awesome. I can't play a single Joni song... Partly because I suck, but also because her stuff is complicated. What tuning is that?
