@PismoBeach Very nice! I wish I could have seen these in person back in the day...

I would've went straight to the toy department and bought all the G1 Transformers!

@PismoBeach Thanks for info! I love vintage tech and your video is amazing!

I can't believe that was filmed in 1984! I use to love this store when I was a kid back in the late 80s. It would be nice to see them back one day, although I highly doubt it.

Ahh the memories! A place where stuff was cheap and you didn't have to buy it in bulk to get it cheap! I used to love to go there w/my parents. We went to the one in Van Nuys on Raymer. Thanks so much for shooting this slice of local history. Bravo! (And screw the beefcake undercover security guy!)

I was a little kid and used to go with my parents all the time. I always ate pizza there.
What kind of camera did you use? Thanks for sharing! This video brought back some great memories for me.

1) I'm very pleased you liked it.

@PismoBeach Do you remember what kind of personal computers were on display there? I was just curious. Thanks again!

Oh, I forgot to mention the old vanished dime stores, like Woolworths, Kresges, Newberrys, McCrory and etc.

We knew some of those here out west - Woolworths & Newberrys.
We miss them now.
