I remember they seemed so ridiculous. With the crazy hats. They would hand out flyers and dress like they just left the set of Alice in Wonderland. I think they got a cut from the club depending on how many people they could bring in the door, so they were always promoting something. It was like a worship of the superficial... the ultimate posers.

They're pretty much like the goths nowadays, only a lot more colorful... :D If you wanna experience something similar, just go to a cyber or goth bar and there you have it. :)

@OmegaPiggy77 I agree 100%. I mean personally, I consider myself a club kid, but that's because I know someone who hung out with these people in the 90s and said I'm just like them. But there's so much more to it than Party Monster.

goddamn michael had to go and piss all over such a fascinating sub culture. not to say its all his fault for the club kids various downfalls but i hate how people hear "club kid" and automatically think party monster, or drugs, or murder. when in reality there are some really cool and creative people who came out of that scene that dont get near enough recognition like Amanda Lepore or Richie Rich.
