How could we have had Hanley Ramirez? The Red Sox traded him and Annibal Sanchez for Josh Beckett-one of the best pitchers in the big leagues. The Phillies had nothing to offer the Marlins. What they were gonna offer them Gavin Floyd for him? No way. They had ZERO shot at Hanley Ramirez. Beckett is one of the all-time clutch pitchers in the playoffs.
