I didn't plan on shooting videos that night, but the crowd was so wild and loud I decided to capture the last few moments and post it online (with permission from the league). Sorry for the shake and the painful pan as I fail to focus on the audience to my right. I do have a lot of stable footage from January's bout though; to show up soon. Note to self: bring your video tripod next time you try to handheld a 80.5 oz (2.2 kg) piece of hardware. Or workout.

The HD video is smooth but you may need to pause the movie and let Vimeo buffer the first minute or so. Some computers may not be able to play HD at 30 fps; switch to SD quality if that's the case, or download the clip directly...

Recorded with a Canon 5DMII and Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 (forgot to disable the lens horizontal stabilization, ack, pan fail!). Register (free) to download the higher quality 1280x720p edit. I can't upload the ginormous 1920x1080p H.264 36 Mbps source files, but they will be archived and made available if you are affiliated to the derby.
