I didn't know he was a Chen family member... I knew he trained under Chen Fake which would make him the 11th generation Chen disciple, but not 18th generation Chen family descendant.

@wushumaro The Chen Family makes the count not on being Chen Disciple but Taijiquan. As the Chen Family itself claims the family style already started with Chen Bu 1st Generation, there is a difference to the official Creator Chen Wangting. So they say 19th Generation Chen Style or Chen Family or 11th Generation Taijiquan.

@Heping1 Can you find me the reference where they claim that? i've not seen that. All i've seen is Chen Xiaowang say that they had some family exercises but chen taiji didn't really start until 9th generation Chen Wang Ting... Anyways, Feng Zhi qiang is awesome. I'm gonna try to train at his school next trip i take to beijing
