  • Hey I was wondering how you launch to different clips at the same time at 2 different BPMs?

  • @wobblelbbow Well there's an easy answer to that, you can't - at least not if you want them to play in time. There is a master clock that everything syncs to. What you could do though is take the quantise off the clip launch, and then that will instantly trigger no matter what the bpm, but they won't be in time or synced at all.

  • Could you tell me where/how you made the bassline?

  • @thechitowncubs It's a sample that came with Ableton in the library. I'll have a look and see if I can find what it's called.

  • Hey there, great videos!

Which version of Ableton 8 do you have? The full suite or one of the lower packages?

    Thanks!

  • @TimboCanada This one was made with the normal version of 8, but I have since bought the full suite.

  • Hello mate great video! i was wonder what effects plug in you have up on your screen at 5.38? ive seen it before but can't quiet remember the name of it. cheers! :)

  • I Ordered one, cant wait to have it.. Thanks for the video its so helpful.

But do i need to but the full version of ableton or just use the one that comes with the pack.??

    Thanks

  • @paulborovay have you got a MIDI/ASIO sound card? That caught me out -0 otherwise you'll get a lag with every type of effect?

  • How does it look in the waveform view? Are you making sure that both the start point and the loop point are the same? If you have warping on, also set it so that bar 1 starts from the beginning of the loop. You will then be able to tell if it's also the perfect length. You might also need to set a couple of warp points as well to make sure everything is triggering on the right bars and beats.
