as a 10 year old I remember my father complaining that too much of the hit parade was being ruined by Rock'n'Roll which of course I didn't agree with and later stating that Rock'n'Roll killed the show My only memory of the show is when they sang the Fankie Avalon hit "Venus" which I now see was the last year I believe I don't know why I remember that song I never liked it or Frankie Avalon either but who knows what will stick in the mind of a 10 year old thanks for the postings
