Before you comment about leash it could be emergency shut off. I have one of those that I attach to my dog on treadmill and when he jumps off the treadmill stops immediately

@DuelJewls77 i tried training my doberman like that by chaining him but he jumps off the side i guess I will try it again :)

Hi, some dogs are just spirited, eager to learn new things.
But most, like our husky & english bulldog, are just stubborn.
I think breed is a factor.
