Located just outside of Santiago, Dominican Republic, Hato del Yaque is home to more than 600 families who were displaced after Hurricane David. With very little electricity, food, and running water, this community struggles to survive.

  • I just got back from there on a mission trip. Jen and the staff are doing great work and right now they are looking to expand their facilities to give even more kids a chance. This is a sad place, but it is full of a lot of happy people who are living life one day at a time. They just need some resources to have the chances that we in the US take for granted. God Bless all the residents and missionaries there, especially my little angel.
