Energy Waste" demonstrates many ways to not be eco-friendly. Chris Gordon acts out different situations many people do, including wasting water, eating more meat than veggies, throwing away recyclables and more. His ecological footprint is way higher than most, which is the area required to support a human. The footprint is calculated by looking at one eats, what housing one inhabits, how one uses transportation, his or her energy sources and how wasteful he or she is. If everyone had a footprint of one, our planet would be resourceful and healthy, but the United State's average is exceedingly high: 9.5. The US consumes the most and puts the most burden on our planet's ecosystems, and it is up to each individual to change their habits and adapt to a newer, greener way of living.
