    it appears that you have lot of mis inforamtion. No one cares more about history than we Indians, go see only indian history books (by govt) you will find that it says buddha was born in Nepal,for indians nepal is part of Indian history and culture ,just because today they are two different country that does not mean we belong to separated region..Indian had been divided in many kindom befor in the past but today it is one country and anyway buddha became buddha in India.
