Odds-on favorite Zensational took command on the turn for home and held off Candy Lion in the stretch to register a 1 1/4-length victory under Victor Espinoza in Friday's night's $49,000 allowance feature at Hollywood Park.
The speedy 3-year-old son of Unbridled's Song was timed in 1:14.42 for 6 ½ furlongs while winning for the second time in three 2009 starts.
Zensational, owned by Zayat Stables and trained by Bob Baffert, paid $2.80, $2.20 and $2.10. Candy Lion returned $3 and $2.40, while the show payoff on Best Mon was $3.80.

The 1/2 mile was done in blazing time, 43.1. These are top of the line horses. Very Zensational Effort...

right after the 3.5f pole the rider on the 7, starts pulling on the horse. now it might be to keep it from going wide but he is also shoulder whiping it. anybody know anything on that?
