Jim Thompson settled in Bangkok after Word War II.
His home was the talk of Bangkok when he built it. Today it is like an oasis in the centre of Bangkok with the lush, cool gardens and peaceful setting.
The house, built in Thai style, has a wonderful collection of art work and original silk screen prints.
If you're in Bangkok you have to go. The history is fascinating, the house is a work of art and the tropical gardens are a haven of peace and tranquility.
