Finished Bowl with Thin Section

This is the first bowl I've completed using the thin section method I showed in a previous video. It is made of maple.

Looks good Dennis, very impressive!

I'm still working on the pyrography, coloring pyrography, laminated spindles and adding angled segments to spindles, I don't think I can handle trying anything else right now!

I will try it, just need to master what I'm working on now before I move on.

I'm at 8 coats of lacquer on the handle and have wet-sanded it to 2000. I found a few dips I need to fill a bit, so a few more coats and then sand and polish and it should be done. Lookin good though!
